On Monday, October 6th at the Uxbridge Legion at 11am, the UHA is hosting a Volunteer Information Meeting with special guest, Dr. Vi Tu Banh. Vi Tu will be speaking about his new book, 12 Elephants and a Dragon, and on the same day will be traveling back to Vietnam for a visit. We hope you can make it!

12 Elephants and a Dragon, by Dr. Vi Tu Banh is “A Memoir of Survival and the Kindness of Strangers.”  The proceeds from the sale of this book will be given to the Uxbridge Hospital! The story is one of struggle and strength, highlighting the profound effect that the kindness of others can have on a person’s life. It speaks of gratitude and illustrates how each of us have the power to change the world for the better. Dr. Vi Tu Banh has been practicing in Uxbridge for over 20 years. He wanted to set up his practice in Uxbridge to serve and give back to the community that helped his family so many years ago.
